Who can do this course?

Anyone can take the padi scuba course - no qualifications are required, just the desire to see some of the wonders of the undersea world.

Men, women, and children can do it, whether able bodied or disabled.

How much will it cost?

How long will it take?

From as little as 5-6wks every individual will benefit from the knowledge that it will take as long as you take to achieve your dream.

Where will the tuition take place?

Courses take place at a number of locations, including:

• Howells school in llandaff, cardiff for pool sessions and churchills hotel llandaff cardiff for theory session.
• Aberdare public swimming pool, theory & pool sessions.

Where will the open water part of the course take place?

West wales or a local dive site if need be dependent on weather.

Are there other scuba courses to do if i enjoy the open water course?

Yes there are plenty of courses.A short list is available for you within the web site, and more details of these can be forwarded to you by request.

Advanced open water course

Five dives to complete this certification, with a pool session to prepare you for the open water in west wales. This course gives the new diver the encouragement to venture into deeper waters where creatures live that you don't get to see in shallower hide-aways.

Many wrecks are found lying at the bottom of the ocean just waiting to be noticed, in all their glory covered in beautiful coral and shining glass fish.

Rescue diver course

This qualification prepares the diver to self help in emergency situations, and help in other diver emergencies in most situations should the need arise.

An accompaniment for this course is also the emergency first response course that is a prerequisite of the rescue course, but is also available to any individual as a stand alone course.

First response provides basic life support training for any individual of any age wishing to learn, the course can be fun for children and serious for adults so can be used for,work,college,school,sport etc

Divemaster course

Step one on the ladder to professional qualifications in the diving industry

As a divemaster you will be trained to an internationally recognised level, gaining first hand experience while learning the padi way - one of the most recognised associations across the world. You will have completed all the necessary courses to reach this prestigious level and maybe thinking of starting up in business in the future , maybe living abroad or teaching diving.

This course can take as long as is needed for you to be as equipped as you can possibly be to pass the next step on that ladder.

This course is being organised for the winter period and can be achieved as a theory only qualificaion with the option of open

Wter dives. This is a healthier way of diving and widely recommended all over the world. The theory is short and practical, and is recommended for deep diving - give us a call for more information.
